ECTP Rate Reduction
Beginning March 17, 2014, the ECTP starting interest rate will be reduced from 5% to 3%. The interest rate will then decrease by 1% each year that the eligible borrower works in the high priority school. Once they've worked three years in the school, the interest will be forgiven.
