We have created this e-privacy policy to demonstrate our firm
commitment to your privacy and the protection of your information.
Why did you receive an email from us?
If you received a mailing from us, we either (a) received your
email address as part of our E-News sign-up form or (b) received
your email address as part of our Customer Satisfaction Survey
form, which are both located and accessible on our web site
(www.calhfa.ca.gov). We respect your time and attention by controlling
the frequency of our mailings.
How we protect your e-privacy
We use security measures to protect against the loss, misuse
and alteration of data used by our system. All information submitted
by a customer via the Internet is stored on a server, which
requires proper authentication for access. We also use anti-virus
protection software and firewalls to guard against outside attacks
on our networks.
Although we exercise reasonable care to provide secure transmission
of information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of
any information transmitted to us over the Internet and we accept
no liability for any unintentional disclosure.
All employees have to sign a confidentiality agreement that
forbids them from disclosing any information to other individuals
or entities unless permitted or required by law.
Sharing and Usage
The only information we "collect" comes from the E-News
and Customer Satisfaction Survey forms on our web site. We do
not store this information in a separate database.
We do not share individual personal information with third parties
without your advance permission unless we are required by law
to do so. Information submitted to us is only available to employees
who use this information to contact you or send you e-mails
based on your request for information. We may also make information
available to contracted service providers who have privacy policies
that protect your information, for purposes of providing services
on our behalf.
How can you stop receiving email from us?
Each email sent contains an easy, automated way for you to stop
receiving email from us, or to change your expressed interests.
If you wish to do this, simply follow the instructions at the
end of any email.
If you have received unwanted, unsolicited email you think
was sent via our system please forward a copy of that email
with your comments to marketing@calhfa.ca.gov.

Because our web site changes periodically, we may update this
policy to reflect those changes. We reserve the right to update
this policy at any time. If any changes do occur, we will post
them on our web site with a link from our home page. The home
page will contain a statement about the changes and the effective
date of the changes.

Our site may contain links to Internet sites maintained by third
parties. These links are provided for your reference only. We
do not control or endorse information, products or services
on these third-party sites, and are not responsible for their
content. This e-Privacy Policy covers only our site and does
not cover the policies of any other sites.

We get some of the information we use on our web site from third
party sources we believe are accurate and reliable. However,
we cannot warrant or be liable for the accuracy, reliability,
timeliness or completeness of any information posted, regardless
of its source.

for each issue.
