Request For Qualifications (RFQ)

For Qualified Mortgage Insurance Providers - Submission deadline: November 16, 2018

In conjunction with CalHFA's Conventional Program, CalHFA uses a mortgage insurance provider(s) to underwrite and provide mortgage insurance on loans exceeding 80% loan-to-value. This request for qualifications ("RFQ") solicits responses from qualified mortgage insurance providers who have the requisite capacity and demonstrated capability to meet all of the Agency's current, as well as future, mortgage insurance needs.

For Qualified Multifamily Lenders Submission deadline December 3, 2018

The Building Homes and Jobs Act became effective in 2018. The purpose of the Act is to establish a permanent, ongoing source of funding for the development of affordable housing. In furtherance of the legislation, CalHFA has developed the Mixed-Income Loan Program to distribute these funds. The purpose of this Request For Qualifications is to pre-qualify preferred lenders to partner with CalHFA on the Mixed-Income Loan Program.

Request For Proposals (RFP)

For Advice and Recommendations - Submission deadline: December 31, 2018

The Agency intends this RFP to assist you in documenting your compliance with the exemption to the Rule in order to allow your entity to provide advice and recommendations to us. This RFP is being posted on the Agency website, constituting a public dissemination of this RFP. The Agency hereby notifies all interested and qualified investment banking firms, brokers, dealers, and financial services entities that it wishes them to provide advice and recommendations in connection with a municipal financial product and/or the issuance of municipal securities (as such terms are defined in the Rule) as described herein.
