CalHFA receives hundreds of loan applications per week, and each one is important. Our reviewers need uninterrupted time to make sure they give each file the attention it deserves, while maintaining the speed and accuracy necessary for good results.
You can help them spend time processing files by using our web site to get answers for yourself. Here's a quick list of how you can self-serve instead of spending your time on hold.
Notice for Incomplete Loan Files:
A complete loan package minimizes our file review turn times, which benefits all applicants. Because we know time is crucial for you and your clients, effective immediately, packages will not be stamped "received" or logged into our Mortgage Access System (MAS) until all they are complete.
A complete loan submission package includes all items on the CalHFA Loan Submission Checklist. Loan submissions will not be placed in line for Compliance Review until all items are received.
